About the Role:
We’re looking for a Backend Developer who loves building scalable APIs, designing smart systems, and making things just work.

What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain fast, scalable, and secure backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design APIs that are a joy to work with — clean, intuitive, and reliable.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers to ship complete features.
- Manage databases (SQL or NoSQL) and ensure data flows like a dream.
- Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Help architect new features and systems from scratch.
Skills We’re Excited About:
- Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL is a plus!).
- Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Understanding of server-side security, authentication (OAuth, JWT).
- Comfortable working with Git workflows and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Good debugging and performance tuning skills.
Extra Brownie Points for:
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions).
- An open mind and eagerness to mentor others or learn from peers.
